The joy in this verse is mind blowing. Someone so faithful and true decides to call me his own? Without forcing or pleading to be adopted?

God is indeed not just a King, he is a father(THE Father). We’ve never felt more fathered with the way he fathers us. He waits patiently for us to fall back into his arms for refuge when we make wrong decisions. David said “Yea though I walk through the Valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for you are with me”. Notice the article ‘I’? …We as children tend to make wrong turns, but God is always there to catch us when it seems we are falling. When we make mistakes, we don’t run or hide from God; We run to him(our father).

Therefore, we walk in the consciousness that God is our father. He never fails, He will never fail. He loved us even before we knew him. He fashions situations for our favour. He directs our paths. He is with us, He is in us.

There’s this beautiful song I heard and was so blessed…The lyrics goes like:
